The Student Parliament (StuPa) is the highest decision-making body representing all enrolled students at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences—and therefore you as well. It consists of 25 student representatives who serve in a volunteer capacity alongside their studies and are re-elected annually by the student body. The StuPa is a forum for intense debates on higher education policy issues, student concerns, and financial proposals, which are decided through democratic voting. In addition, the Student Parliament elects the Executive Board of the General Student Committee (AStA), deliberates on and approves the budget, and appoints other committees, such as the Hardship Committee and the Audit Committee. It also elects a Presidium from among its own members, which is responsible for ensuring that meetings are properly prepared, conducted, and followed up on. Additionally, the Presidium ensures that the Parliament fulfills the duties to which it is committed in the bylaws and represents the Parliament externally vis-à-vis the university.
If YOU’d like to actively help shape the university or simply want to learn more about our work, you’re always welcome!
We look forward to seeing you
